DIC Anini is established in the year 1989 with a view to develop SSI units in the district and motivate local entrepreneurs for which EDP are periodically conducted by various organizations. The DIC process for financial assistance and encourage availing subsidies provided by the Govt. small scale sector has an active and critical rule in genera ling and providing employment opportunities at lower capital cost, establishing wide entrepreneurial base, dispersal of industries in rural/backward areas, reduction of disparities, equitable distribution of national income and wealth and promotion of ancillarisation through symbolic integration and organic linkages with large industries so as to contribute to overall industrial growth.

Admission test of ITI candidate: We conduct ITI admission test of this district for admission in all ITIs of Arunachal Pradesh in the month of May and June every year and selection is done as per Govt, norms for ITI Roing, Taporijo, Itanagar and Dirang.

PMEGP: under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation program (PMEGP) we get substantial target for this district and selection of candidates for financial assistance loan is given through SBI Branches for setting up of service, Manufacturing and Business enterprises. ADI as convener of the Task force committee convener periodical meeting in the district Headquarter and review the assistance given to the selected candidates.

Industrial Management Training (IMT) cum Buyer’s sellers meets: We every year conduct IMT cum buyer’s seller meet in sub divisions or interior place for one week training for the people to provide training.

Entrepreneurship Development Training (EDP) is conducted for the Unemployed youth of this district every year either in collaboration with MSME office. Ministry of Industries, Govt, of India or NIETCO or IIE, Guwahati for the local youth.

Scheme or project report is prepared for the candidates, who wish to take help from DIC and avail technical help from DIC office.

TEXTILE & HANDICRAFTS

CRAFT CENTER ACTIVITIES:-

1. Total number of Crafts Center in the District: 1 Nos.
2. Trade in which training imparted: Handloom Weaving, Carpentry, Knitting.

Under APKVIB sponsored PMEGP Margin Money scheme, total number of beneficiary are selected and financed through SBI, Anini

WEAVERS HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME :

Enrollment forms of weavers sponsored are sponsored through ICICI, Lombard, Guwahati for issuing of policy identity cards to local weavers.
